Memo by Bishop Hall.

I regret that I seem to have sent my last copy

of my letter of April 27th to Mr. Grace.

It was written after a meeting of representatives

of the five (six) Councils, just as I was going away for

a month.- provisionally accepting the Block Grant and

again questioning the London decision.

This was not acknowledged, but when I returned at the

end of May I got an interview with Mr. Rowell himself
